“From Miami to Dubai: Expanding your brand”

One of my clients is an interior designer with a very unique personality, style, and background. I see these as a huge part of her brand, so I create content that highlights her story, sharing her thought process and the inspiration behind her designs.

That strategy made a real difference that helped her grow from 3k to 14k followers in four months, organically, without the need of any promotional apps or paying to boost content. One of her posts reached over half a million views and caught the attention of a couple in Dubai. They felt her background, her experience, and her travels gave her a special understanding of what they wanted for their home because they shared things in common with her. That connection turned into her first international project—and the biggest so far. And I feel it important to mention, her company is barely two years old.

This experience proved to me how powerful storytelling can be in marketing. It’s not just about showing work or pretty content, it’s about “creating that human connection” and “humanizing our brands.” (San Luis, 2021).
